TCAS is the central university admission system that Thai universities run through āļāļāļ. One cycle opens four rounds: Portfolio, Quota, Admission and Direct Admission. Each round reads a different mix of GPAX, portfolio evidence and the TGAT, TPAT and TCAS A-Level papers, so the right plan depends on which round a student is aiming at.
Term two of āļĄ.6 is the tightest diary a Thai family keeps. Pick the format that survives contact with school, āļāļ§āļāļ§āļīāļāļē and Bangkok traffic.

Choosing between āļ§āļīāļāļĒāļēāļĻāļēāļŠāļāļĢāđ-āļāļāļīāļāļĻāļēāļŠāļāļĢāđ, āļĻāļīāļĨāļāđ-āļāļģāļāļ§āļ and āļĻāļīāļĨāļāđ-āļ āļēāļĐāļē decides which TCAS A-Level papers are realistically reachable two years later. A student who leaves āļāļīāļŠāļīāļāļŠāđ behind in āļĄ.4 is not sitting code 64 in āļĄ.6.

Round 1 Portfolio opened on 15 āļŠāļīāļāļŦāļēāļāļĄ 2569. Term one closes on 30 āļāļąāļāļĒāļēāļĒāļ 2569 and the school break runs through āļāļļāļĨāļēāļāļĄ, which is the last uninterrupted month before the exams come in a line.

The papers arrive in a line: TGAT together with TPAT2, TPAT3, TPAT4 and TPAT5 across 30 āļĄāļāļĢāļēāļāļĄ to 1 āļāļļāļĄāļ āļēāļāļąāļāļāđ 2570, then TPAT1 āļāļŠāļāļ on 13 āļāļļāļĄāļ āļēāļāļąāļāļāđ 2570, then TCAS A-Level over 13 to 15 āļĄāļĩāļāļēāļāļĄ 2570. All of it lands inside term two, while school is still running.

Four bodies of work sit behind one application. A session is spent on one of them at a time, chosen by what the shortlist needs.
Paper names and dates follow the TCAS70 cycle published by āļāļāļ. at mytcas.com. Confirm them there before registering, because āļāļāļ. adjusts the calendar between cycles.

āļāļāļ.'s Applied Knowledge Level papers, coded 61 to 89. They replaced the nine āļ§āļīāļāļēāļŠāļēāļĄāļąāļ papers from TCAS66 onward.

Still two years out, and the decisions made now, stream and subjects, quietly decide which faculties remain reachable. This is the cheapest point at which to change the plan.

Medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and veterinary science through the āļāļŠāļāļ consortium. TPAT1 sits on its own date, 13 āļāļļāļĄāļ āļēāļāļąāļāļāđ 2570, two weeks after the rest, which changes how the January weeks are spent.

TPAT3 plus the applied mathematics and science papers. The common mistake is treating 61 āļāļāļīāļāļĻāļēāļŠāļāļĢāđāļāļĢāļ°āļĒāļļāļāļāđ 1 and 62 āļāļāļīāļāļĻāļēāļŠāļāļĢāđāļāļĢāļ°āļĒāļļāļāļāđ 2 as one subject with one revision plan.

The system changed name and shape at TCAS66. Parents who prepared for GAT and PAT are reading a different exam set, and the advice that worked for an older sibling no longer maps.

Each of these is common, reasonable, and wrong in a way that only shows up when the timetable arrives.
Why it happens
Thailand has two, and they share the words. Cambridge A-Level is the Year 12 and 13 qualification taught in international schools. TCAS A-Level is āļāļāļ.'s own set of sixteen papers coded 61 to 89, sat by āļĄ.6 students from Thai schools. Different papers, different marking, different admission route.
How we fix it
We name the exam before anything is booked. A āļĄ.6 student sitting code 64 āļāļīāļŠāļīāļāļŠāđ and a Year 13 student sitting Cambridge Physics need different tutors, different past papers and a different order of revision.
Why it happens
They stopped counting. The ministry announcement of 25 āļāļąāļāļ§āļēāļāļĄ 2563 made O-NET a sit-if-you-want exam from āļāļĩāļāļēāļĢāļĻāļķāļāļĐāļē 2563 onward, and at TCAS65 āļāļāļ. took it out of the selection criteria altogether. Families keep revising for it as though a place depended on it.
How we fix it
We put O-NET where it belongs: a school measure worth sitting properly, and worth nothing in the TCAS ranking. The hours that frees go to TGAT and to the TCAS A-Level papers the faculty actually reads.
Why it happens
GAT and PAT were retired. From TCAS66 the aptitude papers became TGAT1, TGAT2, TGAT3 and TPAT1 to TPAT5, and the nine āļ§āļīāļāļēāļŠāļēāļĄāļąāļ papers became TCAS A-Level. An older sibling's materials rehearse an exam that no longer exists.
How we fix it
The first session checks what the family already owns against the current paper set, then rebuilds the revision list around the three parts as they stand now: English communication in TGAT1, reasoning in TGAT2, and workforce competency in TGAT3.
Why it happens
For TCAS70, āļāļāļ. introduced TCASfolio as a shared portfolio standard together with TCAS Verified, which certifies that submitted work is the applicant's own. The announcement of 26 āđāļĄāļĐāļēāļĒāļ 2026 says plainly that this targets the portfolio ghostwriting trade.
How we fix it
Portfolio work is coached, and it is never produced for the student. A āļĄ.5 session goes into choosing which of their own projects carry evidence a faculty can check, and how to describe that evidence honestly.
Why it happens
TCAS70 does carry no fee for TGAT and TPAT1 to TPAT5, and seven TCAS A-Level subjects carry no fee. The timetable still limits the choice. Papers 83 āļāļĢāļąāđāļāđāļĻāļŠ, 84 āđāļĒāļāļĢāļĄāļąāļ, 85 āļāļĩāđāļāļļāđāļ, 86 āđāļāļēāļŦāļĨāļĩ, 87 āļāļĩāļ, 88 āļāļēāļĨāļĩ and 89 āļŠāđāļāļ share one slot, so only one of them is possible. 82 āļ āļēāļĐāļēāļāļąāļāļāļĪāļĐ is scheduled separately and can be taken alongside.
How we fix it
The paper list is built backwards from the faculty shortlist and then checked against the timetable, before registration opens on 14 āļĄāļāļĢāļēāļāļĄ 2570 and closes on the 20th.
Every date and paper name here comes from āļāļāļ.'s TCAS70 publications. Check mytcas.com before you register, because the calendar shifts between cycles: TGAT and TPAT moved from āļāļąāļāļ§āļēāļāļĄ to late āļĄāļāļĢāļēāļāļĄ for this one.

Tell us the pairing is not working and we change it. A āļĄ.6 student has no spare term to lose to a tutor who never quite fits.
Bangkok tutors are assigned by BTS and MRT corridor. A tutor two stations away can keep a Tuesday evening; one across the city cannot.
There is no roster of faces here. What matters is whether this tutor has sat the paper your child is sitting.
One tutor to one student over video, for families anywhere in Thailand. This is the practical route outside Bangkok, and it is also how a Bangkok student keeps a session when the evening falls apart.
In Bangkok the tutor comes to the student, and the match is made along a train line. Sukhumvit and the Silom side cover Watthana, Sathon, Bang Rak and Bang Kho Laem; the Rama IX and Ratchada stretch covers Huai Khwang; the south-east reaches Bang Na and Saphan Sung; Don Mueang sits to the north. Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan and Pathum Thani follow the same lines outward. A āļĄ.6 student has one or two free evenings a week, and a tutor two stations away can take one of them while a tutor across town cannot.
