One tutor, one student, at your own table in Bangkok or online anywhere in Thailand. Before we match anybody we ask the school, the syllabus and the exam, because in this city the word "maths" covers four different papers written by four different boards.

What is Edulom?
Edulom is a private tutoring service for Bangkok and the provinces around it. One tutor sits with one student, at your own table or online, and teaches to the syllabus the school has actually set. So the opening questions are the school, the year group and the paper ahead. From there we look for a tutor who has taught that paper, place them by district so the traffic does not eat the lesson, and write back what the first session found.

What we are for
Mission
To make one hour of tutoring in Bangkok worth what a family pays for it: a tutor who has taught the exact paper ahead, a lesson that reaches the house on time, and a written record the parent can read the next morning.
Vision
A family anywhere in Thailand should be able to reach a tutor who knows their school’s syllabus, whether the school sits on Sukhumvit or two provinces from the nearest international campus. Distance should settle how a lesson is delivered, and nothing beyond that.
The year a family here actually lives
Two school calendars run side by side in this country, and the month to start tutoring is different on each. This is the shape of the year we plan around.
May
The national year opens
Thai schools open term one in mid-May and run it to the end of September. New material arrives fastest in the first six weeks, which is also when a gap opens quietly enough that nobody notices until the first test.
Aug
The other new year
International schools in Bangkok open in August, a full term out of step with the national calendar. A child crossing between the two systems arrives mid-syllabus, and that crossing is one of the most common reasons a family calls a tutor at all.
Oct
The month with nothing new in it
The national terms are separated by a break through October. Nothing is being taught, so catching up stops competing with keeping up. It is the cheapest month of the year to close a gap, measured in effort rather than money.
Nov
Term two opens, and the clock starts
Term two opens at the beginning of November and carries the year into its examinations. From here every subject is running against a fixed date, and the tutoring question changes from understanding to timing.
Jan
Exam season
TGAT and TPAT sit at the turn of January into February, the ม.6 O-NET papers now fall in January, and ป.6 and ม.3 follow. O-NET is voluntary and no longer part of university selection, so whether a family sits it is a decision to make rather than a date to obey.
Mar
A-Level, then the long holiday
The TCAS A-Level papers, codes 61 to 89, sit in March, and the national school year closes in the same month. April is the long break, and it is when the following year is quietly either built or lost.

Tutors travel to your home in Bangkok, starting with the districts where international schools cluster: Watthana (Sukhumvit and Thonglor), Sathon and Bang Rak, Bang Kho Laem on the riverside, Huai Khwang around Rama IX, Bang Na, Saphan Sung and Don Mueang. Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan and Pathum Thani follow. Everywhere else in Thailand learns online with the same tutor each week.
Degree, transcript and teaching history are checked against the institution that issued them, rather than taken on trust from a CV. A candidate then sits the actual paper they want to teach, under its real conditions: a candidate for IB Diploma Mathematics AA answers IB Diploma Mathematics AA questions, and a candidate for TCAS A-Level code 61 sits code 61 as it is sat. We publish no acceptance rate, because we have not run enough of these to have one.
Say so and we look again. There is no charge for the change and you do not owe us an explanation. The first lesson exists partly to answer this question, which is why nothing is paid before a tutor has been matched.
You tell us the subject, the syllabus and the year group, the school, and whether lessons happen at your table or online. We match on the paper itself: a tutor who has taught that syllabus to that year group. Where two tutors both fit, schedule and travel decide. There is no ranking score behind this, and no number we could honestly put on how well it works yet.
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee a grade, and an agency that does is selling something it does not control. What we do put in writing before the first lesson is the fee with nothing added later, a short written note after every session, and a tutor you can change at no cost. Those are the things we can be held to.
