Teach with Edulom
One tutor to one student, in the familyâs home or online. You teach the syllabus the school actually sets, and you see the brief before you say yes.

Edulom is opening in Thailand, and the tutor list comes before the students do. That is why this page carries no headcount, no star rating and no success stories: any of them would be invented, and you would find out on your first assignment.
What we can show you is how the work is set up, because that part is already decided. Read it, and if it matches the way you like to teach, send the form. Early applications are read one at a time.
Two school systems sit side by side in Bangkok, and they ask different things of a tutor. Tell us which one you know, and we keep your assignments inside it.
Bangkok and the provinces around it
Prathomsuksa through matthayom plai
A-Level means two things in Thailand. Inside TCAS it is the Thai paper, Applied Knowledge Level, sat by āļĄ.6 students for university entry. In an international school it is Cambridge AS & A Level. We ask which one you teach before an assignment goes out, so nobody arrives prepared for the wrong paper.
Six things happen every time, in this order. None of them depends on how busy we are that week.
Before a single tutor is contacted we ask which school the student attends, which syllabus the class follows, and which topic is going wrong. A request missing those three answers is not an assignment yet, and we hold it until it is.
Level, syllabus, district, days and times, and what the family wants fixed. Then you accept or you pass. Passing costs you nothing and moves you no further down any list.
You spend it finding out what the student can and cannot do yet, and you write that down. The family receives those notes. They are also your own record when the plan has to change two months later.
A few lines will do: what you covered, what held, what to practise before next time. The parent reads them, and so would the next tutor if the student is ever handed on. The time it takes to write them counts as part of the work.
The rate for the assignment is agreed in writing, and the number quoted to the family comes off the same sheet. Money gets settled before you travel, never in the doorway.
When the fit turns out to be wrong, the family moves to another tutor free of charge, and you are neither billed nor marked down for it. Matching a tutor to a student is our job, so a miss is ours to carry.
International-school families in Bangkok sit in several separate pockets rather than one neighbourhood, and the traffic between those pockets is the real cost of this job. So we match you inside a corridor you can actually reach after work.

Assignments are grouped along the BTS and MRT lines. An evening lost to crossing the city is an evening nobody pays you for, and we would rather it stayed yours.
Teaching online reaches families outside Bangkok, Chiang Mai (āđāļāļĩāļĒāļāđāļŦāļĄāđ) and Phuket (āļ āļđāđāļāđāļ) among them. Those assignments carry the same weight as the ones in town. If online is all you want, say so in the form.
Thai national schools
They open around the middle of May and run to March, with the long break falling in April.
International schools
They open in August, on the northern-hemisphere year.
Two calendars mean demand arrives twice, and mock season lands at different times for the two groups. Teaching in both systems widens what we can send you across the year.
