The two hours begin when the tutor is at the table, not when they leave home and not when they reach the lobby. Travel time is ours.

A tutor delayed on the way still teaches the full two hours. A session cut short by the tutor is not counted against your block.

Each session is logged against your block at the end, and the record is what both sides refer to later. Check it when it appears. A disputed session is easy to settle in the same week and awkward to settle a month on.

The session ends when the two hours are up. A tutor with another family across town cannot give you the extra twenty minutes without taking them from someone else.

Shoes off, phones away, water on the table: the family sets the house rules and the tutor follows them.

Tell us a day ahead and the session moves at no cost. School sports days, temple days, and a sudden downpour that closes a soi are all ordinary here, and the rule is built for them.

Silence, or notice inside twelve hours, counts as one session used. By that point the tutor has already turned down the slot and is on the way.

Ask us, not the tutor. We handle the change, and it costs nothing. Say what did not work as well: a learner who needs the explanation in Thai and is getting it in English is a matching problem, not a teaching problem.

A block runs 30 days from the first session, with 15 days of grace after that. The grace exists because a Thai school term and a Bangkok international school term do not break at the same time, and neither should your block.

If more than 45 days pass without lessons, write to us rather than let the block lapse quietly. Songkran in April, the October break, and a family trip home over the long holiday all stretch past that line, and they are all reasons to pause rather than reasons to lose sessions.

Continuing with the same tutor into the next block costs the block price alone. The joining fee is paid once, for the matching work, and never again.

When two sessions are left in the block, the next invoice is raised automatically so the weekly slot is not lost in the gap. Rhythm is most of the value in tuition, and a fortnight off in the middle of a term undoes more than it saves.

Tell us before that invoice is raised and nothing is charged. One message is enough, and no reason is required.

Without a message, the invoice is raised and the tutor keeps the schedule as agreed. If it was raised in error, say so and it is cancelled.

Fees are paid to Edulom through the channels shown at checkout, in Thai baht. Cash handed to the tutor at the door is not accepted, and a tutor who asks for it should be reported to us. It is the rule that keeps a missed session traceable.

The block is paid before it opens. That is what holds the same weekday slot for you week after week instead of releasing it to whoever asks next.

The first payment can wait until one day after the first session, so a family can meet the tutor before committing to the block.

Once a tutor has been matched and assigned, the registration fee is recorded as non-refundable, at the amount listed in the pricelist. This fee covers the tutor-matching process and the initial administration of enrolment.

Tell us and the tutor at least a day before the next session, so nobody crosses Bangkok for a lesson that is not happening. Notice inside twelve hours still counts as one session.

Sessions already taught are charged at the single-session rate rather than the block rate, since the block price assumes the block was kept.

Arranging lessons privately with a tutor you met through Edulom is not allowed. It looks like a saving and it removes every protection on this page: no record of the session, no replacement, no money held on your behalf.

Fees go to Edulom, never hand to hand. A tutor who accepts direct payment loses the assignment.

When a block closes, contact goes back through us rather than directly to the tutor. If you want that same tutor again, ask and we will book them.
