Bangkok keeps two school calendars at once, and overseas universities follow neither of them. This programme puts one application file in order, session by session, against the dates that actually bind it.
Study abroad application support is one-to-one guidance through a university application filed from Thailand: the shortlist and its entry requirements, the academic record, the English score, the student's own essay, and the teacher reference. The student writes. The tutor reads the requirement pages, sets the order, and keeps the dates.
Application work is short bursts of reading and redrafting, so the format follows the deadline rather than a fixed weekly slot.

An international-school final year opens in August, weeks before the overseas season. A Thai school final year opens in mid-May and still has months to run when overseas files are due. Both produce a transcript that is incomplete at the moment it is needed.

Deadlines are not printed on this page on purpose. They move, universities publish their own, and a date printed here would go stale while the page stayed up. In session we open the course page and read the date off it.

Why it happens
In Thailand that word names two unrelated exams. In an international school, Cambridge A-Level is what Year 12 and Year 13 lead to. The ทปอ. paper set, running from code 61 through code 89, is what TCAS A-Level means, and ม.6 students write it to reach a Thai university. Code 61, Applied Mathematics 1, is 30 questions across 90 minutes, marked out of 100, which is a different creature entirely.
How we fix it
We name the exam in full every time it appears, in the shortlist, the transcript summary and the essay. A requirement page read against the wrong exam sends a student to a course they cannot meet.
Why it happens
An early sitting feels like getting ahead. Score validity says otherwise: Chulalongkorn BBA, for one, requires a score no older than two years at application. A test taken in ม.4 can be dead paper by the time the file is sent.
How we fix it
We count backwards from the application window before booking a sitting, and we book it while a retake still fits. Since 22 March 2026 IELTS in Thailand is on computer, so practice runs on screen rather than on paper.
Why it happens
For a ม.6 student the collision is on the calendar: TGAT sits with TPAT2 through TPAT5 across 30 January to 1 February 2027, TPAT1 lands on 13 February, and the three TCAS A-Level days run 13, 14 and 15 March. Overseas files are being decided across exactly those weeks, and the student has one nervous system for both.
How we fix it
We push the essay drafting into the earlier window, including the October school break, and treat January to March as a period where only short reviews happen.
Why it happens
The Thai academic year does not end until March. In ปีการศึกษา 2569, term 1 closed on 30 September 2026 and term 2 opened on 1 November 2026, so a file sent in the overseas season carries a record with a whole term still unwritten.
How we fix it
We present what is certified and what is predicted as two separate things, and we agree with the school in advance who signs the predicted part.
Why it happens
Thailand's own system is being rebuilt around this exact problem. ทปอ. brought TCASfolio into TCAS70 as one common portfolio standard, with TCAS Verified beside it to certify that the work is the student's own, aimed squarely at the services that write portfolios for money. An essay written by someone else survives until the first interview question about it.
How we fix it
The student writes every word. The tutor asks questions, marks drafts and refuses to type into the document, which is also the only version that holds up when someone asks the student to explain a sentence.
Why it happens
Thai international programmes publish their own floors and they differ from each other. At Mahidol University International College the English floor is IELTS Academic 6.0, and the Writing band on its own has to reach 6.0 as well. TOEFL iBT 69 is read the same way, with Writing at 22. PTE stands at 50 and Duolingo at 100. Mathematics is a separate gate: SAT Math 600, or ACT Math 25. Chulalongkorn BBA wants SAT 1270 earned at one sitting. Its English floor is IELTS Academic 6.5. TOEFL iBT 79 serves instead, and so does CU-TEP taken together with Speaking at 101. GPAX 3.00 sits underneath all of it. Chulalongkorn CommDe reads IELTS at 6.0, SAT EBRW at 450, CU-TEP at 80, or TOEFL iBT at 79.
How we fix it
We check the programme's own admission page in the session, because these floors are revised. A fallback nobody verified is not a fallback.
Five of these six are calendar problems wearing different clothes. That is why the first session is spent on dates rather than on prose.
No student in Thailand has been taught by Edulom so far. What can be offered instead is a way of working, set down in plain enough terms for you to check us against it.
Entry requirements are opened on the university's own page during the session. Admission pages change between cycles, and a confident wrong answer costs a year.
The tutor marks drafts and asks questions. Typing into the document is out of bounds, and the session note says what was left alone.
A single document holds each course, what it asks for, what is done, and the date taken from its own page. The family can see the whole application on one screen.
For a ม.6 student the TCAS dates go into the same plan as the overseas ones, so the exam season is not discovered in the middle of a draft.

Applications reward someone who has filed one and can prove they read the requirement page rather than remembering it.
Screen-shared drafting works well here, because the object of the session is a document both people are looking at. Families in Chiang Mai, Phuket, Chonburi and anywhere outside the Bangkok corridors use this line, and so do Bangkok families once the deadline gets close and sessions get short.
