None of these is about effort. Each one is a family working hard on the wrong thing, in a year that offers no second attempt.
Why it happens
O-NET is the exam the school organises, announces and revises for, so it fills the year by default. Sitting it became optional back in āļāļĩāļāļēāļĢāļĻāļķāļāļĐāļē 2563, and by TCAS65 āļāļāļ. had taken it out of university selection altogether. The paper that decides āļĄ.4 is written by the school being applied to, and nobody revises for it except the family.
How we fix it
We separate the two. O-NET work stays where it already lives, inside school hours and the school's own revision, and entrance work runs alongside it. The āļĄ.3 O-NET sitting falls on 1 to 8 February 2570 under Digital Testing, so the plan leaves that week clear.
Why it happens
A āļĄ.4 application names a track, and the count that decides the odds belongs to the track. At āđāļĢāļāđāļĢāļĩāļĒāļāđāļāļĢāļĩāļĒāļĄāļāļļāļāļĄāļĻāļķāļāļĐāļē for āļāļĩāļāļēāļĢāļĻāļķāļāļĐāļē 2569 the school received 13,895 candidates for 1,520 places, a ratio of 1:9.14, while āļ§āļīāļāļĒāļēāļĻāļēāļŠāļāļĢāđâāļāļāļīāļāļĻāļēāļŠāļāļĢāđ by itself counted 10,220 candidates for 1,000 places (Thai PBS). A family comparing schools is reading the wrong figure.
How we fix it
The first two sessions go to the track. We test the child against the subjects that track will demand for the next three years, ask what they want to present under TCAS at the end of āļĄ.6, and only then build the school list underneath that decision.

āļ āļēāļāđāļĢāļĩāļĒāļāļāļĩāđ 1 of āļāļĩāļāļēāļĢāļĻāļķāļāļĐāļē 2569 closes on 30 September and āļ āļēāļāđāļĢāļĩāļĒāļāļāļĩāđ 2 opens on 1 November, which leaves the whole of October free of school work. It is the only uninterrupted block a āļĄ.3 student gets before the sitting season, and every year it goes to travel and rest while preparation restarts in December with a few weeks left.

The diagnostic paper is sat at the start of October and the heavy rebuilding happens inside the month, while consecutive days are available. āļ āļēāļāđāļĢāļĩāļĒāļāļāļĩāđ 2 then opens with a list of named topics the family can watch shrink.
Why it happens
The exam names a Thai family hears most often are āļāļĩāđāļāļ, āļāļĩāđāļāļ and the āļāļāļ. A-Level subject papers, and every one of them belongs to āļĄ.6 and is sat three years further on. Material written for them assumes āļĄ.4 to āļĄ.6 content the child has not been taught, so the hours go into pages that cannot be answered yet.
How we fix it
We work the āļĄ.1 to āļĄ.3 core of āļŦāļĨāļąāļāļŠāļđāļāļĢāđāļāļāļāļĨāļēāļāļāļēāļĢāļĻāļķāļāļĐāļēāļāļąāđāļāļāļ·āđāļāļāļēāļ āļ.āļĻ. 2551 and take it to the depth a selective paper asks. That is the same content the school has already taught, asked in a shape the child has never seen.
Why it happens
Compulsory education in Thailand ends at āļĄ.3. The 15-year programme pays for schooling up to āļĄ.6, and the money follows the student while the seat is awarded by a school. āļĄ.4 is the first year of school life at which a child can be refused.
How we fix it
From the first session the plan carries two outcomes: the school the family wants, and the school the family would accept. One body of work serves both, so a refusal at one sitting leaves the year intact.

Every applicant has either sat a Thai āļĄ.4 entrance or taught āļĄ.1 to āļĄ.3 in a Thai classroom, teaches in Thai, and in the interview is handed a question a āļĄ.3 student has just got wrong and asked to teach past it.
Topic worked, questions missed, task set. You are never left reconstructing the hour from a tired fourteen-year-old at dinner.
A weekday session after school only exists if the tutor can actually arrive. We assign along the Sukhumvit, Silom, Ratchada and riverside corridors, which is how Bangkok families already think about distance.
Agreed with you, written down, and unchanged afterwards. If the tutor turns out to be the wrong fit, the replacement costs you nothing.
No roster, no photographs and no counts, because Edulom has placed no tutor in Thailand yet. This is the standard every applicant is held to before they meet a āļĄ.3 student.
One-to-one online sessions for āļĄ.3 students outside Bangkok, and for the weeks when an evening journey across the city is not realistic. The same tutor each week, so nobody has to be re-explained.
In Bangkok we assign a tutor along the rail line your family already travels, because in this city the commute decides, more than anything else, whether an after-school lesson can happen on a weekday at all. On the Sukhumvit side that means Watthana and Bang Na; around Sathon and Silom, the khet of Sathon, Bang Rak and Bang Kho Laem; on Ratchada, Huai Khwang; Saphan Sung out towards Krungthep Kreetha; and Don Mueang at the top of the city. The same corridors carry us into Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.

Thai compulsory education runs nine years, āļ.1 to āļĄ.3. A child moving from āļ.6 into āļĄ.1 is entering a year the state requires of them.
